Bricks and Bombs Show, July 28, 2018

back to main photo page

back to Anchovy Sandwich

On July 28, 2018 some of my pieces were included in a show at Bricks and Bombs (near Ogden Park Shopping Center). The show was extremely well-attended and it was lot of fun.  All of the artists were women.  The next day I took some more pictures.  The photos I took the next day are first in this group of photos.

Placement of my pieces. Check out the shelf with the smaler collages and the masks. Note that there was a smaller piece to the left of mine, but Michael Bibler bought it and picked it up right before I arrived the day after the show.
Brad was cleaning up the next day…
This was a big piece on the right wall.
Merch from B&B wasn’t in the gallery area. This was in the back reception area.
I thought it was charming for Brad to include this piece. It looks like an escapee from the BR Watercolor Society’s Spring Show.
The artist is the victim of the recent armed robbery on Kenmore. Small world.
More on the Deer/Hippo artist later.
The crowd was thick.
Another shot of the big collage’s placement.
My big collage was well displayed
Tried to get the Bricks and Bombs window in the shot.
I did have more pieces in the show than anyone but the recycled dress gal.
You can see my stuff isn’t all that well displayed —
