Example Dream
Responsibility for Monkeys Eating Styrofoam, by Beatrice Fitzgerald
The title pretty much says it all. I dreamed that I looked over a barrier separating the roadway from a deep ravine. In the ravine were a bunch of monkeys who were munching on discarded Styrofoam containers. The containers had previously contained meat. The monkeys were not interested in one of the containers because that container had never contained any meat. A very large bobcat/tiger-like beast showed up, and he started munching on the Styrofoam as well. I thought he might want to gobble up a monkey, or maybe even me, but he was focused on the Styrofoam. He looked up at me with big, serious, sad eyes. I was responsible for the animals NOT having access to the Styrofoam, and I had entirely failed in this mission. I tried to wake up a gal who was in on the Styrofoam protection project. I thought she could help me, but I could not rouse her. The supervisor, also a woman, did wake up, and then I woke up.
