OK, it’s not A History of the World in 100 objects , but it would be fun to have 100 found objects…
8/2/18 Raspberry & Quinoa Dark Chocolate Thins
Raspberry and dark chocolate are so good together that even quinoa doesn’t ruin them entirely.
7/31/18 Sangaria Royal Milk Tea Can
This tea can is artifact of someone’s visit to White Star Market today. The can is shorter than a normal soft drink can, but it has about the same diameter, giving it a slightly squatty look.
That’s Sangaria, not Sangria.
Here’s an opportunity to experience the tea vicariously, via YouTube. Bonus feature: The reviewer’s can was made for the Asian market, and the little video includes a charming effort at translation of the Chinese on the can. Note that my can indicates that it is a product of Japan, and I see on the internet that this tea is offered in the Japan Pavilion at Disney’s Epcot Center. Maybe the Chinese and Japanese languages really are that similar (?).
This was uncovered in a recent excavation of my living room.
8/5/18 Myanmar Christian Fellowship Van
Spotted in a parking lot on College Drive, this van led to some googling.
